Kummankin ohjelman taustalla on ollut tutkimuksen tuoma uusi tieto sairauden mekanismeista ja syist\u00e4.<\/p>\n<p>Tarkoin suunnitellut ohjelmat ovat vieneet tiedon nopeasti ja tehokkaasti k\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6\u00f6n laajan koulutuksen avulla. Ohjelmilla on ollut selke\u00e4t, numeeriset tavoitteet, etuk\u00e4teen harkitut ty\u00f6kalut ja sovitut mittarit tuloksellisuuden seuraamiseksi. Niinp\u00e4 ohjelmat ovat merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti v\u00e4hent\u00e4neet sairaustaakkaa, parantaneet potilaiden ty\u00f6kyky\u00e4 ja s\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4neet niin yhteiskunnan kuin potilaan kustannuksia.<\/p>\n<p>Astman osalta yhteiskunnan kustannuss\u00e4\u00e4st\u00f6t olivat esimerkkivuonna 2013 v\u00e4hint\u00e4\u00e4n \u20ac 120 miljoonaa. Astmaohjelmasta on kehittynyt geneerinen malli ja sit\u00e4 on sovellettu useissa muissa maissa pitk\u00e4lti vastaavin tuloksin. Ohjelmista saatu kokemus kertoo my\u00f6s siit\u00e4, kuinka t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 on terveydenhuollon ammattilaisten ty\u00f6n integraatio yhteisten kansanterveysongelmien ratkaisemiseksi.<\/p>\n<p>Tari Haahtela, emeritusprofessori, HUS, Iho- ja allergiasairaala, Helsingin yliopisto<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allergiakoulutukset jatkuvat.
