Filha ry (Finnish Lung Health Association) promotes public health in Finland by combating lung diseases and tuberculosis, as well as by promoting the population\u2019s lung health.<\/p>\n
We act as a cooperation body between experts and people who support the purpose of the association. We cooperate with organizations and authorities operating in the field and actively participate in the field’s international activities.<\/p>\n
Our main focuses are preventing and combating lung diseases and tuberculosis, developing better care practices, developing self-management practices for the sick and training professionals.<\/p>\n
Internationally we work with WHO (World Health Organization), The Union (International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease), and other international organizations in the field.
